Conveyor belts

Conveyor belts are continuously operating transport systems that move bulk goods, piece goods or materials between production or storage stations. They are a key component of almost every industrial logistics and production facility.

Common types include belt conveyors (standard for bulk materials, lengths up to several hundred metres), link belt conveyors (for hot or oily materials), inclined conveyors for differences in height, trough conveyors for dusty materials, roller conveyors as a special type, and modular belt conveyors for the food industry.

Leading manufacturers include Siemens Logistics, Interroll, Conveyor Components, Habasit, Forbo Siegling, Maas Group, Bühler, Beumer and Continental Industry.

Conveyor belts are used in mining and quarrying, in production facilities across all sectors, in port and bulk cargo handling, in the food and beverage industry, in distribution centres, and in recycling and sorting plants.
