New Amtec Asphaltbox 5 t with heating system – ThermoTOP diesel heater – asphalt processing
The Asphaltbox 5 t is an insulated thermal container designed for the storage and transport of hot asphalt. The unit features an integrated ThermoTOP diesel heating system and is suitable for asphalt processing work on construction sites and in workshops. The design, featuring insulation on all sides (up to 10 cm) and a two-part hinged lid, ensures reliable heat retention. All moving parts are galvanised, and the unit is fitted with a fold-away chute and forklift attachment.
The tank capacity is 3.5 m³ with a payload of 6,300 kg and a kerb weight of approximately 850 kg. The heating system has an output of approximately 5.0 kW (24 V) and achieves temperatures of up to 120 °C with a diesel consumption of around 0.5 l/h. Dimensions: 3,000 × 1,500 × 1,360 mm. The heating system is approved in accordance with ECE-R 122. Installation and functional testing are carried out at the factory. Operation in enclosed spaces is not permitted.
