New Amtec TWINBOX 6-tonne dual-chamber thermal container with heating system – ThermoTOP diesel heater – asphalt processing
The Amtec TWINBOX is an insulated thermal container designed for the storage and transport of hot asphalt. The dual-chamber design, with a 60/40 split, allows for the separate transport of different materials or temperature ranges. The unit is fitted with a ThermoTOP diesel heater and features a range of functions such as a two-part insulated hinged lid, a retractable chute and a lid-opening aid for practical handling on site.
The volume is 3.7 m³ with a payload of 6,600 kg. The external dimensions are 3,500 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,160 mm in height. The unladen weight is approximately 1,100 kg. The insulation is 10 cm thick on all sides. The integrated heating system has an output of approximately 6.0 kW at 24 V and achieves temperatures of up to 120 °C with a diesel consumption of around 0.5 l/h. The unit is approved in accordance with ECE-R 122 and is supplied ex-works with installation and a functional test completed.
