White Lion WL 3000 Profi – Dry ice blasting machine for industry and restoration (new)
Some surfaces must not be cleaned using sand, chemicals or water – such as sensitive electronic components, historic façades, injection moulds or hygiene-critical equipment in food production. This is precisely where the White Lion WL 3000 Profi dry ice blasting machine comes into its own: it cleans using dry ice pellets which sublimate on impact – in other words, they vanish without leaving any residue. No blasting media to dispose of, no abrasion, no chemicals. With a dry ice throughput of up to 120 kg/h, the WL 3000 Profi is designed for large-scale, intensive cleaning tasks.
High-performance dry ice blasting machine for industry, motor vehicle restoration and heritage conservation
- Industrial cleaning: oil, grease, resins and residues on production equipment; cleaning of injection-moulded and die-cast moulds without damaging the surface.
- Paint stripping and control cabinets: Environmentally friendly removal of paints and coatings; gentle cleaning of sensitive electronics and control cabinets.
- Car and classic car restoration: Engine bay, underbody and paint removal – gentle on materials, without damaging sensitive components.
- Building cleaning and heritage conservation: Graffiti, algae and dirt on natural stone or concrete; abrasion-free cleaning of historic surfaces.
- Food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries: Chemical-free blasting for hygiene-critical areas; residue-free cleaning of tanks and plant.
The three key figures
Dry ice throughput 20–120 kg/h. Infinitely adjustable – from gentle cleaning of sensitive electronics to powerful removal of stubborn coatings. A digital display shows the set pellet feed rate.
Operating pressure 1–16 bar. In short: the pressure determines the aggressiveness of the blast. Low pressure protects the surface, whilst high pressure up to 16 bar removes stubborn contamination – continuously adjustable depending on the task.
Air requirement: 1–16 m³/min. Dry ice blasting requires a lot of compressed air. To achieve the full performance of the WL 3000 Profi, a suitably sized compressor is required – we’d be happy to help you select the right size.
Equipment and scope of supply
- Single-hose system, blasting gun with universal power nozzle, tool-free nozzle change
- Insulated, electrically vibrating hopper with a dry ice capacity of approx. 30 kg
- Digital display for pellet flow rate, emergency stop function
- 10 m hose set, 10 m 1" compressed air hose with MODY claw couplings, 10 m mains cable (Schuko)
- Lightweight aluminium housing (80 kg), acid-resistant wheels, conductive chassis
- Optimal air quality in accordance with ISO 8573-1 Class 3 (oil- and dust-free)
- Made in Germany; optionally available as a complete 1-inch version and in customised designs
What to look out for before buying
- Ensure you have a suitable compressor. The WL 3000 Profi only performs to its full potential with sufficient compressed air (up to 16 m³/min). If you do not have a powerful compressor, it makes sense to combine the unit with a mobile construction compressor – we can advise you on the right combination.
- Ensure good air quality. For consistent results, the compressed air should be oil- and dust-free (ISO 8573-1 Class 3). A after-cooler/filter fitted to the compressor is well worth the investment.
- Select the appropriate nozzles for the task. Flat and round nozzles in various sizes allow you to adapt the jet to the surface – from delicate electronics cleaning to large-area removal.

Frequently asked questions
How does dry ice blasting work?
Dry ice pellets are propelled onto the surface using compressed air. Upon impact, the dry ice sublimates – it changes directly from a solid to a gaseous state and disappears without leaving any residue. All that remains is the loosened dirt; there is no blasting material to dispose of.
What compressor do I need for the WL 3000 Profi?
Dry ice blasting is a compressed air-intensive process (up to 16 m³/min). You’ll need a high-performance compressor that delivers a stable flow rate and pressure. We have suitable mobile construction compressors in our range – please contact us to discuss the right combination.
For which surfaces is this process suitable?
A very wide range: from sensitive electronics and injection moulds to vehicle and engine parts, right through to natural stone and historic façades. As the process does not involve abrasive blasting, sensitive substrates remain undamaged.
Does it leave any residue?
No. The dry ice sublimates completely; no blasting waste is produced. No chemical cleaning agents are required – this makes the process environmentally friendly and suitable for use in areas where hygiene is critical.
Is the machine portable?
Yes. Weighing 80 kg and housed in a lightweight aluminium casing, with acid-resistant wheels fitted with roller bearings and a conductive chassis, the WL 3000 Profi can be easily moved from one job site to another.
