Kaeser M17 construction compressors MOBILAIR 14 bar with support frame A
M17 Mobile Construction Compressor,
Featuring the globally recognized SIGMA PROFILE
with a flow rate of 1.0 m³/min at 15 bar
Small in size, big in performance
Power is not a question of size or heavy operating weight—the small Mobilair models M 13, M 15, and M 17 are excellent examples of this: They are compact, lightweight, and deliver up to 1.2, 1.4, or 1.6 m³ of compressed air per minute (at 7 bar), depending on the model. To cover the widest possible range of applications, the M 13 model is available with a standard gasoline engine or an electric motor.
Versatile The three versions of the smallest Mobilair compressor offer a wide range of applications. At temperatures up to +40°C, they provide the necessary power for pneumatic hammers, spades, drills, saws, screwdrivers, grinders, ground-penetrating rockets, or drive sewer robots. The 15-bar version is ideal for trenchless installation of fiber-optic cables or for leak tests. For cool, condensate-free compressed air, an external aftercooler can be connected as an option, or for technically oil-free compressed air, an external filter combination can be connected.
Screw compressor with gasoline or electric drive The heart of the system is a powerful Kaeser screw compressor block with energy-efficient SIGMA PROFILE. It is driven by a fuel-efficient Honda gasoline engine or an energy-efficient three-phase motor (M13E). A low-maintenance V-belt serves as the power transmission. Depending on requirements, various versions with operating pressures ranging from 7 to 15 bar are available
Easy operation The high quality of the Mobilair M 13, M 15, and M 17 compressors is evident, among other things, in their ease of operation. This is ensured by: the clearly laid-out control panel with pressure gauge, operating hour counter, and monitoring of the final compression temperature; easy starting of the gasoline engine with a key, as well as reliable cold starting with a choke and electric starter; starting of the electric version with just a single switch featuring star-delta starting to prevent high inrush current; Monitoring of the motor rotation direction and a convenient polarity reversal switch (to prevent accidental incorrect polarity when connecting the unit to the power grid)
Easy transport The compressor fits on virtually any loading area. This keeps the trailer hitch of the transport vehicle free. A retractable lifting eye facilitates loading and unloading.
Compressed air treatment as an option: The M13, M15, and M17 can also be operated with an external compressed air aftercooler (for cool and condensate-free compressed air), optionally with an additional microfilter combination (for technically oil-free compressed air) with a bypass option around the filters. The units are factory-equipped with a 12-V electrical connection to power the aftercooler fan and a connection for returning the separated condensate (in units with a gasoline engine, it is evaporated using the exhaust gases; in units with an electric motor, it is collected in a built-in container)
Both transport frames feature permanently mounted connection lines for compressed air, fan power supply, and condensate return. They only need to be connected to the compressor, which is equipped for this purpose.
User-friendliness as standard In addition to easy transport to and on the construction site, the product development goals focused on, among other things, simple operation and optimal accessibility to all maintenance points. The result is low maintenance costs and fast, high system availability.
Made in Germany The construction compressors of the numerous MOBILAIR series are manufactured in Coburg (Northern Bavaria). The plant, which was completely rebuilt a few years ago and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, features, among other things, a TÜV-certified sound measurement station for free-field sound level measurement, a high-performance powder coating system, and highly efficient production logistics.
