View on GoogleBuy floor saws, wall saws, cut-off grinders and concrete grinders – Husqvarna Construction, Norton Clipper, new and second-hand, direct from specialist retailers. Precise cuts in concrete, asphalt and masonry require the right machine: the floor saw for roads and floor slabs, the wall saw for openings in existing structures, and the cut-off grinder for everything in between. Here you’ll find new Husqvarna equipment from GSK Baumaschinen in Hanhofen and second-hand equipment from Kraus Baumaschinen – with cutting depth, disc diameter and drive type listed in the advert.
Which machine for which cut?
Tile cutters (petrol/diesel): Husqvarna FS 305 (350 mm, 125 mm cutting depth), FS 400 LV (500 mm), FS 410 D Diesel (500 mm, 189 mm cutting depth). For expansion joints, breaking up asphalt and concrete, cutting cable channels in roads, and crack grouting. Diesel models for continuous use, petrol models for hire and occasional use.
Wall saws: Husqvarna WS 482 HF – high-frequency wall saw with guide rail, up to 1,600 mm blade and 730 mm cutting depth, for doors, windows and ceiling openings in reinforced concrete; the top-of-the-range choice for concrete drilling and cutting contractors.
Table saws and tile saws: Husqvarna TS 73 R (230 mm, for tiles and slabs), Norton Clipper CGW-230 – for tilers, pavers and landscaping, wet with water cooling.
Angle grinders and concrete grinders: Husqvarna K 970 (petrol, 400 mm, hand-held) for pipes, kerbstones and masonry; Husqvarna PG 280 concrete grinder for levelling, stripping and polishing floors.
What we look out for in second-hand cutting equipment
Spindle and drive: spindle play and concentricity (if the disc wobbles, this indicates bearing damage), V-belts, clutch; for HF saws, the power supply and control system; for petrol-powered saws, compression, carburettor and starting performance.
Feed and guidance: For floor saws, the feed drive, depth adjustment, wheels and guide rail; for wall saws, the rail, carriage and saw head.
Water and dust: ensure the water cooling system is leak-free, check the pump and that protective covers are complete – dry cutting without extraction is no longer permitted (quartz dust, TRGS 559).
Documentation and consumables: CE marking, operating instructions, DGUV inspection for electrical equipment. Diamond blades are wearing parts – check which blades are included in the scope of delivery.

Frequently asked questions about drilling and cutting equipment
Which floor saw do I need?
For expansion joints and asphalt repairs up to 12 cm deep, a 350 mm petrol-powered model (FS 305) is sufficient. For floor slabs, road demolition and cable trenches up to 19 cm deep, you’ll need a 500 mm blade – in a diesel model (FS 410 D) for daily use.
How much does a floor saw cost?
New petrol-powered wall saws (350–500 mm) are in the low to mid four-figure range, whilst diesel models are priced higher; wall saws with a rail and HF power unit are in the five-figure range. Diamond blades are an additional running cost.
Wet or dry cutting?
Wet, wherever possible: water cools the blade, binds the quartz dust and extends the blade’s service life. Dry cutting should only be carried out with a dust extraction system rated M/H and respiratory protection – fine quartz dust is carcinogenic (TRGS 559).
Which diamond blade for which material?
Soft-bonded discs for hard materials (granite, clinker, reinforced concrete); hard-bonded discs for abrasive materials (asphalt, sandstone, fresh concrete). Universal discs for general use; for asphalt, use discs with protective segments to prevent undercutting.
Can I lease cutting equipment or finance it via hire purchase?
For higher-end equipment such as wall saws and diesel floor saws, you can submit a no-obligation enquiry regarding leasing or hire purchase. You can clarify the terms with the dealer or their finance partner; the purchase and payment are handled directly between you and the seller.
