Kaeser MOBILAIR M125 – 14 bar construction compressor for sandblasting and civil engineering (new)
Large construction sites and work crews require a lot of compressed air – reliable, off-grid and, where required, at high pressure. The Kaeser MOBILAIR M125 is the large diesel construction compressor designed precisely for these tasks: with a delivery rate of up to 11.5 m³/min, it is infinitely adjustable up to 14.5 bar thanks to pXv control. A powerhouse ‘Made in Germany’ that can supply multiple tools simultaneously or provide stable pressure for large-scale sandblasting.
Large mobile diesel construction compressor with 14 bar for sandblasting, demolition and civil engineering
- Large-scale sandblasting: high flow rate plus stable pressure at the blasting tank – the M125 continuously supplies even high-performance blasting tanks with dry compressed air.
- Demolition and tool crews: With up to 11.5 m³/min, multiple demolition hammers, needle scalers or rotary hammers can run simultaneously – ideal for larger teams.
- Civil engineering, concrete and cable blowing: From compaction and shotcrete to high-pressure blowing at 14 bar, a single unit covers a wide range of tasks.
- Low-emission zones and sensitive locations: A standard diesel particulate filter and advanced exhaust gas treatment ensure clean air – meeting even the strict Swiss Air Pollution Control Ordinance.
The three key figures
Operating pressure 5–14.5 bar. Using the pXv control system, we set the maximum pressure in 0.1-bar increments. The rule is: the higher the pressure, the greater the reduction in flow rate – a full 11.5 m³/min at 7–10 bar, but just 9.7 m³/min at 14 bar. This allows a single unit to adapt precisely to the task at hand.
Flow rate up to 11.5 m³/min. In short: pressure is the force, flow rate is the output. This capacity class ranks among the most powerful mobile construction compressors and is sufficient for large work crews or demanding blasting operations.
Engine:Deutz diesel, 105 kW, Stage IV / EPA Tier 4 Final. The water-cooled Deutz TCD 4.1 L04 (2,200 rpm) with exhaust after-treatment (DOC + SCR) and a standard particulate filter is designed for gruelling continuous operation, even under harsh climatic conditions.
Standard equipment and options
- Highly efficient KAESER screw compressor block with SIGMA PROFILE and energy-saving fan
- pXv control with continuously adjustable maximum pressure (5–14.5 bar in 0.1 bar increments)
- Metal casing, power transmission via gearbox
- Electronically controlled motor start, pressureless start-up, automatic monitoring
- 170-litre fuel tank for extended operating times
- Compressed air outlets: 3× G 3/4, 1× G 1 1/2
- Operating range −10 °C to +45 °C, low-temperature version available as an option
- Optional compressed air treatment available (after-cooler, cyclone separator, filter combination, heat exchanger)
What to look out for before purchasing
- Transport and weight. Weighing around 2,020 kg (base model, with a full fuel tank) and measuring up to 4.9 m in length, the M125 requires a suitable towing vehicle and sufficient towing capacity – or, alternatively, a stationary installation using skids or machine feet.
- Balance pressure against flow rate. Operating continuously at 14 bar yields a flow rate of 9.7 m³/min; for maximum flow at a lower pressure, 11.5 m³/min is available. The pXv setting should be tailored to the actual application.
- Specify the compressed air treatment. The optional treatment stages are worthwhile for blasting and sensitive applications. Note: With certain treatment packages, the patented anti-Froste control is not included – we can advise you on the appropriate combination.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many tools can the M125 power?
With a flow rate of up to 11.5 m³/min, the M125 is one of the highest-capacity mobile construction compressors and can easily power several large pneumatic tools simultaneously. It is essential to use suitably sized hose lines.
Is the M125 suitable for sandblasting?
Yes, particularly for larger blasting jobs. It delivers a high flow rate and stable pressure; with the optional air treatment components, the necessary dry, clean air is also provided.
Is the compressor permitted to operate in low-emission zones?
Yes. The exhaust after-treatment system (DOC + SCR, Stage IV / EPA Tier 4 final) and the standard diesel particulate filter ensure clean air – the M125 even complies with the strict Swiss Air Pollution Control Ordinance.
What type of towing vehicle do I need?
Weighing around 2,020 kg (base model) and measuring up to 4.9 m in length, the M125 requires a towing vehicle with a corresponding towing capacity. A choice of various chassis with overrun brakes is available, or alternatively a stationary installation.
What does pXv control mean?
The pXv control system links maximum pressure to flow rate: the adjustable pressure directly influences the maximum possible flow rate. This ensures the compressor always operates at the most economical point for the task at hand.
Is it suitable for continuous operation and cold starts?
Yes. The M125 is designed for demanding, continuous use on construction sites. Electronically controlled engine start-up and pressureless start-up ensure optimum cold start performance; a low-temperature version is available as an option.
