Description

M13 Mobile Construction Compressor,

Featuring the globally recognized SIGMA PROFIL
with a flow rate of 1.6 m³/min at 7 bar

Small in Size, Big in Performance

Power isn’t a matter of size or heavy operating weight—the small Mobilair models M 13, M 15, and M 17 are excellent examples of this: They are compact, lightweight, and, depending on the model, deliver up to 1.2, 1.4, or 1.6 m³ of compressed air per minute (at 7 bar). To cover the widest possible range of applications, the M 13 model is available with either a standard gasoline engine or an electric motor.

Versatile The three versions of the smallest Mobilair compressor offer a wide variety of applications. At temperatures up to +40°C, they provide the necessary power for pneumatic hammers, spades, drills, saws, screwdrivers, grinders, ground-penetrating rockets, or to power sewer robots. The 15-bar version is ideal for trenchless installation of fiber-optic cables or for leak tests. For cool, condensate-free compressed air, an external compressed air aftercooler can be connected as an option; for technically oil-free compressed air, an external filter combination can be connected.

Screw Compressor with Gasoline or Electric Drive The heart of the system is a powerful Kaeser screw compressor block featuring the energy-efficient SIGMA PROFILE. It is driven by a fuel-efficient Honda gasoline engine or an energy-efficient three-phase motor (M13E). Power is transmitted via a low-maintenance V-belt. Depending on your needs, various versions with operating pressures ranging from 7 to 15 bar are available

Easy Operation The high quality of the Mobilair M 13, M 15, and M 17 compressors is evident, among other things, in their ease of operation. This is ensured by: the clearly laid-out control panel with pressure gauge, operating hour counter, and monitoring of the final compression temperature; easy starting of the gasoline engine with a key, as well as reliable cold starts with a choke and electric starter; starting of the electric version with just one switch using a star-delta start to avoid high inrush current; monitoring of the motor’s direction of rotation and a convenient polarity reversal switch (to prevent accidental incorrect polarity when connecting the unit to the power grid)

Easy transport: The compressor fits on virtually any cargo area, leaving the transport vehicle’s trailer hitch free. A retractable lifting eye facilitates loading and unloading.

Optional Compressed Air Treatment: The M13, M15, and M17 models can also be operated with an external compressed air aftercooler (for cool, condensate-free compressed air), optionally with an additional microfilter combination (for technically oil-free compressed air) featuring a bypass option to bypass the filters. The units are factory-equipped with a 12-V electrical connection to power the aftercooler fan and a connection for returning the separated condensate (which is evaporated using the exhaust gases in units with gasoline engines and collected in a built-in container in units with electric motors).

Both transport frames feature permanently mounted connecting lines for compressed air, fan power supply, and condensate return. They simply need to be connected to the compressor, which is equipped for this purpose.

User-Friendliness as Standard In addition to easy transport to and on the job site, the product development goals focused, among other things, on simple operation and optimal accessibility to all maintenance points. The result is low maintenance costs and fast, high system availability.

Made in Germany The construction compressors of the numerous MOBILAIR series are manufactured in Coburg (Northern Bavaria). The plant, which was completely rebuilt a few years ago and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, features, among other things, a TÜV-certified sound measurement station for free-field sound level measurement, a high-performance powder coating system, and highly efficient production logistics.
