Buy new and used attachments for excavators and loaders – buckets, hydraulic hammers, demolition shears, pulverisers and grabs – directly from specialist dealers. An excavator is only as versatile as its attachments: with a trench-clearing bucket, cable bucket, hydraulic hammer and grab, a mini-excavator becomes a versatile tool for civil engineering, demolition, cable laying and landscaping. We stock attachments from GSK Baumaschinen in Hanhofen (new Seifert products for mini-excavators from 0.5–8 t and demolition tools up to 28 t) and Kraus Baumaschinen in Frankenthal – with mounting, weight and excavator class specified in the listing.
Which attachment is right for your excavator?
Buckets for mini-excavators 0.5–4.5 t: backhoe buckets 30–60 cm, trench-clearing buckets 80–140 cm (rigid or hydraulically swivelling), cable buckets 150 mm for utility trenches – with MS01 (up to 2 t) or MS03 (2–4.5 t) quick-change couplers, Symlock-compatible. The mounting system is key: the bucket and quick-change coupler must use the same system (MS01/MS03/MS08, Lehnhoff, OilQuick, Verachtert CW).
Hydraulic hammers: Epiroc SB 452, Tecna TBK60/100/175, Bobcat HB880, complete hammer sets including mount, tool and chisel for 1.2–4.5 t excavators. For demolition, rock, foundations and road breaking. Prerequisite: auxiliary hydraulics with suitable oil flow.
Demolition tools for 2–28 t: SHP280/SHP370 pulverisers (crushing concrete, cutting rebar), SDS1500/SDS2200 scrap shears (for 12–28 t excavators), demolition grapples, sorting grapples. For demolition, recycling and scrap yards.
Grabs and other equipment: clamshell grabs (Kinshofer C03H), fork positioners, Dorn-Tec grapples, excavator buckets, tanks and fuel systems for the construction site (Dehoust).
What we look for in used attachments
Mounting and fit: Bolt diameter, bolt spacing and width must match the excavator – and, for quick-change couplers, the system type. A bucket with the wrong mounting is worthless.
Wear and tear: Cutting edge and teeth (thickness, nicks), side cutters, pin sockets (play), cracks in welds – particularly on the back of the bucket and on the mountings. For breakers: chisel play in the bushing, oil leakage, gas pressure in the reservoir, impact frequency during testing.
Hydraulics: For hydraulic attachments (swivel buckets, grapples, shears), check cylinders for leaks and scoring, hoses and couplings, and the rotary joint on the grapple. The excavator’s oil flow and pressure must be suitable for the attachment (as stated in the technical data sheet).
Documentation: Attachments that turn the excavator into a lifting device (load hooks, grabs) require CE marking and a specified load capacity; demolition tools, along with their weight, must be included in the excavator’s load capacity chart.
| Attachment | Excavator class | Mounting | Application |
|---|---|---|---|

Brands and dealers
Seifert Maschinenbau supplies backhoe buckets, trench cleaning buckets and swivel buckets for mini-excavators, which GSK Baumaschinen offers from stock; Lehnhoff (MS mounts), OilQuick and Verachtert set the standards for quick-change couplers, Epiroc, Tecna and Bobcat for hydraulic hammers, and Kinshofer for grapples. Our dealers: GSK Baumaschinen in Hanhofen (new stock: buckets, cable buckets and hammer sets for mini excavators, pulverisers and scrap shears – available from stock) and Kraus Baumaschinen in Frankenthal (hammers, grapples, buckets – new and used). Filter by manufacturer, weight and condition; the excavator class is stated in the listing title.
Frequently asked questions about attachments
What type of attachment mount does my mini-excavator have?
The most common systems in Germany are Lehnhoff MS01 (up to approx. 2 t), MS03 (2–4.5 t) and MS08 (5–9 t) – mechanical or hydraulic. Symlock-compatible buckets fit both variants. The type is indicated on the quick-change coupler or in the excavator’s technical specifications; if in doubt, measure the bolt diameter and spacing.
How much does a trench-clearing bucket for a mini-excavator cost?
Rigid buckets are in the low three-figure range, whilst hydraulically swivelling trench-clearing buckets and hammer sets are in the four-figure range. Demolition tools for large excavators (shears, crushers) cost five figures. Our new stock listings show fixed prices.
Which hydraulic hammer does my excavator need?
Rule of thumb: hammer weight should be around 8–12 per cent of the excavator’s weight; oil flow and operating pressure should be as specified in the technical data sheet (e.g. 20–40 l/min for 1.5–3-tonne excavators). Hammers that are too large can damage the boom and hydraulics, whilst those that are too small will not deliver sufficient performance.
Are attachments from different manufacturers compatible?
Yes, provided the mounting (bolts, width, quick-change system) and hydraulic connection are compatible. Adapter plates and replacement bolts solve most issues; check this with the dealer before purchasing.
Can I lease attachments or finance them via hire purchase?
For higher-value equipment such as shears and pulverisers, you can submit a non-binding enquiry regarding leasing or hire purchase. You should clarify the terms with the dealer or their finance partner; the purchase and payment are handled directly between you and the seller.
