Description

Performance is not a question of size or high operating weight – the small Mobilair models M 13, M 15 and M 17 are excellent examples of this: they are compact, lightweight and, depending on the model, deliver up to 1.2, 1.4 or 1.6 m³ of compressed air per minute (at 7 bar). To cover as wide a range of applications as possible, the M 13 model is available with either a standard petrol engine or an electric motor. Versatile in use The three versions of the smallest Mobilair compressor offer a wide variety of applications. At temperatures of up to +40 °C, they supply the necessary power for pneumatic hammers, spades, drills, saws, screwdrivers, grinders, ground-penetrating rockets or to power sewer robots. The 15 bar version is ideal for the trenchless laying of fibre-optic cables or for leak tests. For cool, condensate-free compressed air, an external compressed air aftercooler can be connected as an option; for technically oil-free compressed air, an external filter combination can be fitted. Screw compressor with petrol or electric drive The heart of the system is a powerful, Kaeser screw compressor block with the energy-efficient SIGMA PROFILE. It is driven by a fuel-efficient Honda petrol engine or an energy-efficient three-phase motor (M13E). Power is transmitted via a low-maintenance V-belt. Depending on requirements, various versions with operating pressures ranging from 7 to 15 bar are available. Easy to operate The high quality of the Mobilair M 13, M 15 and M 17 compressors is evident, amongst other things, in their ease of operation. This is ensured by: the clearly laid-out control panel with pressure gauge, an operating hours counter and monitoring of the final compression temperature; easy starting of the petrol engine using a key, as well as a reliable cold start with choke and electric starter; starting of the electric version with just a single switch, featuring a star-delta start to prevent high inrush current; monitoring of the motor’s direction of rotation and a convenient polarity reversal switch (to prevent accidental incorrect polarity when connecting the unit to the mains supply); easy transport. The compressor fits on virtually any load bed. This leaves the tow bar of the transport vehicle free. A retractable lifting eye facilitates loading and unloading. Compressed air treatment is available as an option. The M13, M15 and M17 can also be operated with an external compressed air aftercooler (for cool, condensate-free compressed air), optionally with an additional microfilter combination (for technically oil-free compressed air) featuring a bypass option to bypass the filters. The units are factory-fitted with a 12 V electrical connection to power the aftercooler fan and a connection for returning the separated condensate (in systems with a petrol engine, the condensate is evaporated using the exhaust gases, whilst in systems with an electric motor it is collected in a built-in container) Both transport frames feature permanently fitted connecting hoses for compressed air, the fan’s power supply and condensate return. All that remains is to connect them to the compressor, which is equipped for this purpose. User-friendliness as standard: in addition to easy transport to and on the construction site, the product development objectives focused, amongst other things, on simple operation and optimum accessibility to all maintenance points. The result is low maintenance costs and rapid, high system availability. Made in Germany The construction compressors in the numerous MOBILAIR series are manufactured in Coburg (Northern Bavaria). The factory, which was completely rebuilt a few years ago and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, features, amongst other things, a TÜV-certified sound measurement station for free-field sound level measurement, a high-performance powder coating plant and highly efficient production logistics. NK = aftercooler, ZK = cyclone separator, FK = filter combination, WT = heat exchanger. Please note that if compressed air treatment options (A) and (F) are selected, the patented anti-frost control is not included
